P站视频 'Second Chance GED Project' Awarded Dollar General Literacy Foundation Grant

P站视频 was awarded a $5,000 grant by the Dollar General Literacy Foundation to support the 鈥淪econd Chance GED Project.鈥 This local grant award is part of more than $8.3 million in grants awarded to more than 1,000 schools, nonprofits, and organizations across the 44 states that Dollar General serves. This is the second year the P站视频 program has been recognized with a Dollar General Literacy Foundation grant.

The P站视频 Second Chance GED Project provides vouchers to students with a demonstrated financial hardship to cover the cost of taking the GED exam. Through the program, students who successfully complete Adult Education requirements and document a financial hardship, are eligible to receive three vouchers to pay for three sections of the exam.

鈥淲e are so delighted to again receive this support from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, to assist students in paying for up to 75 percent of the actual cost of the GED Exam,鈥 shares Donna Sizemore, Adult Secondary Education Department Chair. 鈥淭hese funds have the potential to make a significant impact in advancing our students鈥 opportunities for success with their education, their personal lives, and in the workplace.鈥
