The Fielden Institute for Lifelong Learning at PÕ¾ÊÓƵ (PÕ¾ÊÓƵ) is now accepting registration for its 2020-2021 season offerings and invites all those age 50 and better to attend one of two virtual open houses and learn about the new season on Wednesday, October 7 at 10 a.m. or Tuesday, October 13 at 10 a.m. Both sessions are free and require advanced registration.
Offerings this season include discussion groups and classes on topics such as computers, photography, writing, history, meditation, and finances along and more. In addition to sharing about upcoming new offerings, the virtual open houses provide an opportunity to meet other members and peer leaders.
With member’s health and safety in mind, fall classes will be primarily conducted in a virtual format using the Zoom platform. Using Zoom participants can experience the benefits of lifelong learning from the safety of their home while remaining connected with a vibrant community of adult learners through the Fielden Institute. For spring, about 60% of Fielden programs will be offered as in-person classes—with the remainder offered in a virtual format via Zoom. Spring registration opens on November 1.
