P站视频 Celebrates Black History

P站视频 (P站视频) is celebrating Black History Month with a series of events and activities at the P站视频 Main Campus culminating with the Black History Month Celebration Program Thursday, February 28 at 6:00 p.m. at the Kight Center for Emerging Technologies in V-110.
This Black History Month Celebration Program is the highlight event featuring keynote speaker Mayor Wayne M. Messam of the City of Miramar as well as inspiring performances that feature the Lincoln Park Academy and Westwood High School choruses.
Other Black History Month events at P站视频 will include:
- An 鈥淓xploration of the Arts,鈥� featuring poetry and music renditions by P站视频 students, faculty, and staff. Wednesday, February, 20 at 12:30 p.m. at the Koblegard Student Union.
- A panel discussion on Black Migration. Thursday, February 21 at 12:30 p.m. at the Brinkley Science Center, N-135.
- 鈥淚 See Me,鈥� a vibrant living museum of African American history and culture with P站视频 Faculty and students personifying iconic African Americans such as Rosa Parks, Frederick Douglass, Oprah, and the Obamas. Tuesday, February, 26 at 12:30 p.m. at the Koblegard Student Union.
- Travel the Zora Neale Hurston Dust Tracks Heritage Trail with P站视频. Thursday, February 28 12:30-2 p.m., meet on the west side of the W-building.
