TABE Online Tools Training
Students who plan to take the TABE test should visit for practice tests and to learn to use online TABE test tools.
Taking the Test
In addition to an P站视频 Student ID number, a valid photo ID (not expired, broken or taped) is required.
There is a calculator built into the TABE testing system. It will automatically 鈥減op up鈥 if the question allows the use of a calculator. Personal or handheld calculators are not permitted.
Test Results
TABE scores can be obtained in person with photo identification at any P站视频 Academic Support Center (ASC). Allow one (1) working day for scores to be processed. There is no charge for a student copy of a TABE score report. TABE scores are automatically entered in the College computer (Workday) system and are available for College departments to view.
TABE Retesting
TABE Survey results are valid for two (2) years. You may retest during that time under the following circumstances:
- You have completed a TABE prescription and passed the practice test in the , and it was determined that you are ready to retest.
- If you have taken courses or reviewed skills elsewhere, you are required to provide official documentation to Steven Daniello, Director of Assessment Services, at sdaniell@irsc.edu.
TABE Retesting
If your scores do not meet those required for your particular program or job, you may request to have a prescription prepared for skills review. After you submit your request, allow one business day for your prescription to be prepared.
Once you successfully complete all prescribed materials, including assigned tests, you will be approved for retesting by an ASC instructor.
If you have a program deadline (scores must be submitted by a specific date), allow enough time to complete your prescription. The amount of time required to complete your prescription will vary according to its length.
